Rescue Service
With the Smart Vault, you can set up a time-lock to protect your assets. If you lose access to your primary key, your funds will automatically unlock after a set period using a rescue key that you set up in advance. This ensures that you can always recover your assets, even in the worst-case scenario, while maintaining full control.

How the Smart Vault Works
Secure your bitcoin with our advanced multisig vault. You control two of the three keys needed for transactions, ensuring total security. Store each key in separate, secure locations for added protection.

We secure a co-signer key
With only one key, we can’t move your bitcoin, but we can collaborate to move bitcoin if you lose a key.
How the Rescue Service Works
Worried about losing both of your keys? Don’t be! Our vault is "smart" for a reason. Even in a worst-case scenario, you'll still be able to recover your funds, ensuring your assets remain safe and accessible.
Setup Time-Lock
During the setup process, you can select a period of up to approximately 15 months, after which a different custody model can be activated. This allows you to specify when an alternative custody arrangement will take over from the initial setup.
Activation
If you lose both of your keys, a preset alternative set of collaborative custody will become active after the time-lock expires. This arrangement ensures that even if you cannot access your primary keys, your funds will remain accessible through a different custody setup.
Secure Rescue
We still won’t be able to access your funds entirely by ourselves, but once the time-lock expires, our team will guide you step by step using a different key setup. We will assist you in securely restoring your Bitcoin to a new arrangement, ensuring that your assets are protected and accessible.

Inheritance Plan
The Rescue Service can function as both your backup and inheritance plan simultaneously. Alternatively, you can set up a second layer of time-lock that activates a different custody model, which can then serve as your inheritance plan. This flexibility ensures comprehensive protection and seamless management of your assets.
